Global Hoops Camp is an international youth basketball experience bringing together players, coaches, and basketball cultures from different countries.

Our goal is to help young players improve their game, build confidence, and experience basketball beyond their everyday club environment.

Learn from experienced coaches with backgrounds in professional basketball, national teams, and player development.

02. Competition and challenges

Games, 3x3, skill challenges, All-Star moments, and other competitive experiences throughout the week.

03. English environment

GHC Classic and Select are conducted in English. Juniors uses English and Latvian so every young player feels comfortable.

04. Led by Jānis Gailītis

Head Coach of Latvia’s Men’s National Team and SIG Strasbourg. 7× Latvian Champion and 2025 German Cup winner. He will be actively coaching at GHC 2027.

What is Global Hoops Camp?

An international youth basketball experience in Riga, Latvia, bringing together players and coaches from different countries for high-level training, competition, education, and personal development.

When is Global Hoops Camp 2027?

GHC Classic: 8–12 June 2027. GHC Juniors and GHC Select: 15–19 June 2027. All camps are hosted at the Rimi Olympic Centre, Grostonas Street 6B, Riga.

Which camp is right for my child?

Juniors is open to all experience levels, born 2020–2016. Classic is for players who already train regularly, born 2016–2008. Select is for advanced players, born 2012–2008, by application.

Can beginners participate?

Yes. GHC Juniors welcomes everyone from complete beginners to players already training in basketball clubs or sports schools.

Is hotel accommodation available?

Select: hotel is mandatory. Classic: with or without hotel. Juniors: hotel is not included, but we can recommend options near the venue.

When does registration open?
